FREDERICTON (GNB) – Advance polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, for municipal byelections on Campobello Island and in Cap-Pelé, Memramcook, Oromocto and Saint John. Voters in the local service district of Lincoln may also vote in an advance poll on whether to form a village.

Any eligible elector may vote at the advance polls. Electors should have received a voter information card in the mail that shows the location of their advance and ordinary polls. Ordinary polling will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 13.

Electors who have not received a card can check their polling station location on the Elections NB website or call the returning office:

●    for Campobello Island, 1-888-356-1555;
●    for Cap-Pelé, 1-877-830-5603;
●    for Lincoln, 1-888-858-8683;
●    for Memramcook, 1-877-886-8483;
●    for Oromocto, 1-888-858-8683;
●    for Saint John, 1-877-830-5601.

In addition, electors may vote by special ballot at any returning office until May 13 during regular office hours. House-bound or hospitalized voters unable to attend the advance or ordinary polls may request that a special ballot be brought to them by contacting the returning office for their municipality.
