FREDERICTON (GNB) – Advance polls will open May 3 for municipal byelections, three first elections and three plebiscites. Advance polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Any eligible elector may vote at the advance polls and should have received a voter information card in the mail that indicates the location of their advance and ordinary polling stations.

The ordinary polling day for these elections is May 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Electors who didn't receive a card can check their polling station location on the Elections NB website and clicking on the links for electoral events, or by calling the returning office in their area.

In addition, electors may vote by special ballot at any returning office until May 12 during regular office hours.  House-bound or hospitalized voters unable to attend the advance or ordinary polls may request a special ballot be brought to them by contacting the returning office for their municipality.

Electors looking for more information may also call the main office of Elections New Brunswick at 1-888-858-VOTE (8683) or for hearing impaired electors by TTY: 1-888-718-0544.
