FREDERICTON (GNB) – The following statement was released today by chief electoral officer Kim Poffenroth:
Elections New Brunswick confirms that an application for a recount in the electoral district of Oromocto-Lincoln-Fredericton has been approved by the Court of Queen’s Bench in Fredericton.
The recount will take place at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Fredericton Justice Building.
Elections New Brunswick is preparing to deliver all ballots cast in this electoral district, along with all other relevant documents identified in the summons.
As the recounts are currently before the courts, Elections New Brunswick will have no further comment.
