A 10% non-refundable deposit (in Canadian dollars), as well as a clean-up deposit in the amount of $2,000, in the form of a money order, certified cheque, or bank draft, both payable to “Minister of Finance”, will be required prior to the offer being recommended for acceptance.

All debris resulting from the removal of the assets must be properly disposed of. The clean-up deposit will be refunded once the site has been leveled and cleaned to the satisfaction of the District Engineer.

The purchaser will be responsible for obtaining all permits required to remove the asset. The purchaser shall obtain public liability insurance in an amount not less than Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000), protecting Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of New Brunswick as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure from all claims arising from this removal. The purchaser shall provide a copy or the policy confirming such protection.

The purchaser will have 30 days from the date on the Bill of Sale to remove the asset from the property. The Province reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary in the event the asset remains on the property after 30 days.
