Impact of COVID-19 - Reopening of Offices of the Assessment and Planning Appeal Board

The offices of the Assessment and Planning Appeal Board will reopen on Monday, May 25th, 2020. Regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, will apply.

Due to government-wide measures in place, the processing of certain matters may be delayed until the State of Emergency is lifted. Please contact the Board directly if you wish to discuss whether a particular matter may be affected.

Changes in Board practice or procedure may be necessary and will be communicated to affected parties directly.

The Assessment and Planning Appeal Board (APAB) is an independent body that provides New Brunswickers with a process for appealing decisions made in relation to property tax assessments, land use planning, and municipal heritage preservation.
