Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre

The Certificate in Family Violence is offered by the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research at the University of New Brunswick. The program is aimed primarily at individuals who encounter family violence issues through their work and who are seeking to broaden their knowledge in this field. The primary goals of the certificate program are to sensitize participants to family violence issues; to help them develop competencies in recognizing family violence and in assisting survivors; and to promote multidisciplinary approaches to solving this complex social problem.

The Canadian Red Cross offers online learning in Violence and Abuse Prevention.  A range of "RespectEd" programs are available including Beyond the Hurt (youth); It’s Not Your Fault (youth); and Sexual Violence.
