FREDERICTON (GNB) – Byelections for April 24 officially got underway in the ridings of Bathurst East-Nepisiguit-Saint-Isidore, Dieppe and Restigouche-Chaleur with today's signing of the writs by Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth.
The three seats have been vacant since the elected representatives of each riding resigned.
The close of nominations for the three byelections is 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. Two days of advance voting are scheduled for Saturday, April 15 and Monday, April 17. Election day is Monday, April 24.
