Educational resources

Elections New Brunswick has created a series of short videos which use easy to understand language to explain how we run elections in New Brunswick.  Our videos are also intended to educate people on the processes that are in place to uphold the integrity of the elections.

During an election, people see and hear a lot of information. This information may affect how they vote, or whether they vote at all.

Candidates, political parties, and other groups often use social media to share information with voters.

Before you believe or share something you see online, take a moment to check it. Ask yourself:

• Who posted it?
• Can the information be trusted?
• Is it based on facts?

Not everything shared online is true. Taking a few minutes to check the facts can help you make informed decisions.

Visit our Check the Facts page to learn how to spot false or misleading information and how to check if information is accurate.
